Maliasili is an organization that accelerates community-based conservation through local organizations across Africa. Their work is ultimately designed to address the damage and degradation of natural ecosystems—and their value for biodiversity, wildlife, and climate—that is accelerating around the world.
Over the past few years I've worked with them to cultivate a unique illustrative style that complements their training and advocacy for local conservation.
In 2021, my friends and I formed a DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) called Asian Wander Women. Our platform was created with a mission to help asian women achieve financial and geographic freedom. We curated a collection of 1000 NFTs for our members to gain exclusive access to content. Find us here on Facebook and Instagram.
A series of visual reflections over the past years. Illustrations include references from the 2017 Charlottesville rally, life in East Africa, and inspirations from a friend’s poem.
I like to call these blitz animations 😉. All of these shorts were produced in under a week; from script writing, to illustrations, to animation, to sound recordings, to production. The animations are short simple, with colorful illustrations that bring to life meaningful stories collected throughout my travels. You can check out the full animations here. Enjoy!
